President Bola Tinubu has directed the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), and Narional Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to work closely with the Sokoto State Government to prevent a recurrence of boat Mishap and to ensure that safety standards on waterways are strictly enforced.
