The Buffalo City Metro says it will need more than R5m to complete refurbishment of the iconic Orient Theatre in East London which was temporarily closed on Monday for renovations.
A tender notice to fix the venue was issued by the metro in February consisting of “building upgrades and maintenance, construction and building services, roof, gutter and downpipe repairs and maintenance”.
