Deputy President Paul Mashatile has urged hundreds of Eastern Cape claimants who managed to have their land rights restored by the government to use the land productively so they may develop themselves and feed their families.He said through its restitution programme, the government was fixing “the original sin, the Native Act of 1913”, which had seen scores of black South Africans being dispossessed of their land, followed by the Group Areas Act and other brutal apartheid government laws.
