President Cyril Ramaphosa is at an “advanced stage” in deciding whether to suspend South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions Andrew Chauke and launch an investigation into him, more than two years after National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) Shamila Batohi requested it.
