Two men were found guilty on Wednesday in the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban of murdering Mangosuthu University lecturer Shan Dwarika, whose throat was slit in May 2023. Dwarika’s emotional widow couldn’t speak after the verdict, while Judge Hadebe condemned the killers who saw Dwarika as a “cash cow”.
