A concerned resident of the troubled Kumkani Mhlontlo Local Municipality has urged co-operative governance minister Velenkosi Hlabisa and his Eastern Cape counterpart, MEC Zolile Williams, to address what she calls systematic corruption at the municipality.
Abongile Nojamnga, of Ntabasigogo village in Sulenkama, Qumbu, made the allegations in a hard-hitting letter which she copied to Mhlontlo municipal manager Lungile Ndabeni, council speaker Eddie Pula and mayor Mbulelo Jara on May 15.
