Humanitarian organisation Gift of the Givers has deployed its disaster response team in response to extreme weather conditions that have struck South Africa’s Eastern Cape. The intervention follows a Level 6 weather warning that has brought strong winds, persistent rainfall and significant snowfall to the region over the past 24 hours.
