Two families that came together through the sports of triathlon and running in East London many years ago continue to maintain sporting contact, sharing opportunities across the continents of Africa and Europe.
King-Vukile Makeleni, Yorck Wurms and Sabine Verkuijl are the parents who have enjoyed a strong bond through triathlon, running and Ironman interests over the years, and all were intimately involved in the multi-sport events in particular.
