A group of 220 former Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) who served under the immediate past New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration have officially declared their endorsement of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2028 general elections. Dr. Bawumia held an open interaction with the MMDCEs in Accra on Monday morning as part of his stakeholder consultations. Following the meeting, the former MMDCEs held a press conference to declare their absolute confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and endorsed his candidature for the 2028 elections.
