Mr. Raphael Godlove Ahenu, CEO of the Global Media Foundation (GLOMEF), has issued a clarion call for Ghanaians to rise with an “unyielding resolve” against the worsening plague of corruption, which he describes as “more destructive than COVID-19.” In a passionate statement on his Facebook wall ahead of a nationwide broadcast, the renowned anti-corruption campaigner, environmentalist, and gender advocate lamented that corruption continues to rob Ghana of vital development, costing the country nearly $1 billion annually.
