Three men who conducted a reign of terror at an East London farm, making off with valuables worth more than R2m, including two bakkies and jewellery, and leaving behind injured victims, have been sentenced to lengthy jail terms.
On Wednesday, East London High Court acting judge Nolubabalo Cengani-Mbakaza sentenced Odwa Dyabana, Luthando Ngangelizwe and Siseko Qhayiso, aged between 26 and 31, to seven years’ imprisonment for each count of five kidnappings, to be served concurrently.
