The Amenfi East Constituency Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Isaac Buah, has been caught in a distasteful tribal commentary on the party’s presidential primaries. In a viral audio circulating on social media and reposted by several media platforms, Isaac Buah, who has demonstrated support for businessman Kennedy Agyapong's bid to lead the NPP and Ghana, is heard saying that the NPP will not allow a northerner to become its presidential candidate because the party “is Akan party.”
